This study aims to describe the use of lexical cohesion reiteration in Padang Kurusetra short story by Emha Ainun Najib. research used a qualitative approach. The data taken is lingual unit sentences that has an marker. method collect this referred reading. Data analysis uses cloze method. results showed there was There 17 repetition, 7 synonymy, 10 oppositions, and 1 hyponymy. function four provide coherence words or phrases each paragragp so understanding author will be same as reader’s.
